Canadian troops with captured German Ford V3000 truck

These Canadians seem to be having problems with their captured Ford V3000 truck. The Ford V3000 was the second most produced truck for the German military after the Opel Blitz. This particular example has been converted or perhaps built new as a "Mule". It has its rear wheels replaced by tracks powered by a shortened rear drive shaft. This was an idea that was developed on the eastern front in order to give trucks much needed mobility in the Russian mud.

The sign above the truck points the way to a Casualty Clearing Post (CPC). The code 75 is for the 10th Field Ambulance Company of the RCAMC, part of the 2nd Canadian Infantry Division.
