Chaplain blesses the bodies of fallen paratroopers

American chaplain Francis L. Sampson of Sioux Falls (South Dakota) of 501st PIR (101st US AB) blesses the bodies of paratroopers killed in action. Each body is wrapped in a parachute. In the background German prisoners framed by GI's are stood behind graves they doubtless have just dug.
