In the background is the damaged tower of Notre-Dame church, used as a vantage point for the previous pictures.

This picture was taken from the Hospital crossroads, and shows a US convoy moving down rue Torteron. Note how in all these pictures the streets have been cleared of rubble by US Army engineers in order to allow important supply traffic to flow through the town.
