This jeep was cut in two by the force of the explosion, probably an anti-tank mine. The prospects for the occupants must have been poor.
On the ground next to the jeep is a M1A1 Thompson machine gun, and the remains of a pair of trousers probably belonging to the unfortunate occupant.
