Scuttled vessel, Cherbourg docks

This vessel was scuttled by the Germans in the channel connecting the Napoleon III dock with theCharles X dock. In the background is a footbridge that was dropped into the water with demolition charges.

These docks remain in use by the French Navy to this navy.
