Utah Beach, 8th of June 1944.

A busy scene at Utah Beach on the 8th of June as US troops and equipment come ashore to build up the beachhead.

Beached are a number of LCT's, with troops of the 1st ESB and 2nd Naval Beach Battalion. working on the beach. Rolled up on the left and rolled out on the beach is Summerfield Netting, used to create roadways over soft ground.

On the right is an abandoned German Pak 40 75mm AT gun.
