At the junction of the D22 and D217 roads near Lonlay l'Abbaye a M10 Tank Destroyer of A Company. 702nd T.D. Bn (attached to the US 2nd Armoured Division) pauses on its journey to Domfront.

Note the extensive Camouflage the crew has applied to their mount, something more commonly seen on German vehicles in an effort to hide them from Allied tactical airpower.
