Colour photograph of Canadian troops coming ashore Juno Beach

Low tide on Juno beach, Courseulles or Bernières sur Mer. These Canadian infantry are coming ashore from a beached LCT carrying their personal equipment. Some of them have their rifles slung over their shoulders ready for a long walk, so we can presume this picture was not taken while their were still Germans defending this beach.

On the left is LCT Mk5 N°2047 of 102nd LCT Flotilla, K Squadron force J1. It was reported at Courseulles on June the 6th.
