Canadian infantry flood ashore in the aftermath of D-Day from LCT's beached at low tide, walking on a corduroy road. To the left is the hulk of LCA 519, listed as destroyed on the 6th of June.

In the foreground are German beach obstacles gathered up for disposal by navy beach parties.
