In this picture taken on August the 1st 1944 two Generals supervise the unloading of LST-21.

On the left is Brig. Gen. Clarence Lemar Burpee, Assistant Chief of Transportation Military Railways Division European Theater of Operations and on the right is Major-General Frank Seymoure Ross commander of US Transportation European Theater of Operations.
