GI's of the 4th ID seen advancing from Utah Beach

A photo by war correspondent Adele 'Tilly' Shelton-Smith shows troops just landed at Utah beach advancing into the French countryside. All are wearing gas masks (Gas Mask M5-11-7) in chest mounted neoprene bags. The man in front carries a 2.36" bazooka as well as his M1 rifle.
