"Hun Chaser" a Sherman tank of HQ Company, 747th Tank Bn, attached to Task Force Cota is halted on Rue du Neufbourg with Notre-Dame church seen in the distance. One of the crew members, Walter E. Hatfield Princeton-Idaho has dismounted armed only with a pistol and his using his binoculars to observe something in the distance. At the other end of the street can be seen another Sherman with its turret pointed in the same direction as the crewmember is looking.
