LCVP unloading, Mid-Day on June the 6th

An American LCVP beached in the shallows near Ruquet unloads its cargo of infantry men. This was between positions Wn 64 and 65 which were taken by previous troops. Some of them are carrying rolls which are probably M1935 tents. Note the DUKW and half track on the beach, and the line of troops snaking away from the beach into the French interior.
