Troops of the 3rd Canadian Infantry Division come ashore on Juno Beach in the afternoon of June the 6th. To the right is beached LCT Mk 3 474 of 11th LCT Flotilla, NR Squadron, J2 force. This photo must have been taken within seconds of the previous picture.

In the background can be seen the church spire of Bernières-sur-Mer church and the much photgraphed "Denise and Roger" villa.
