Convoy US vehicles passing through Bocage country.

M Company (Heavy Weapon Co) 38th infantry, 2nd Infantry Division moves in convoy through the French countryside South of Campeaux.

The jeeps carry a metal pole welded to the front, in order to break wires Germans placed over roads in order to decapitate passengers of jeeps like this. The first jeep carries a 30.Cal M1917A1 water cooled HMG on a M48 mount.

In the background there is a Dodge WC54 carrying a Bailey Bridge section.
