Jeep pulls 57mm AT gun through crossroads of RN13 and rue Holgate Carentan

Another view of the same crossroads from the previous picture, this time with a towed 57mm AT gun passing by.

The 57mm AT gun, a US built British 6 pounder, was the Airborne divisions most potent anti tank defence being able to present a serious threat to all German tanks of the period with the exception of the Tiger.
