Troops of the Mount-Royal fusiliers advance behind a tank of the Sherbrooke Fusiliers, Falaise

These troops are using Tank 21 of the Sherbrooke Fusiliers (2nd Canadian Armoured Brigade 4th Cdn AD) as cover as they advance down rue des Ursulines, Falaise, on the 17th of August.

They are involved in clearing out elements of the 12th SS Panzer Division (Hitlerjugend) under the command of SS-Sturmbannführer Krause from the town.
